1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Freedom Energy Ltd website located at www.freedom-energy.co.uk ("the Site"). Freedom Energy Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13633581), with its registered office at Bampton Downs Farm, Cove, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 7RY.

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are also available on the Site.

2. About the Site

The Site provides information about Freedom Energy Ltd and the services we offer, including solar panel installation, battery storage, EV charging and electrical installation. The Site also allows you to submit an enquiry requesting a call-back or assessment.

The Site is intended for use by individuals and businesses based in the United Kingdom. It is not directed at users outside the UK, and we make no representation that the content or services described are available or appropriate in other jurisdictions.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, icons and the overall design, is the intellectual property of Freedom Energy Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Modify, adapt or create derivative works from any content on the Site

  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use of the Site. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose

  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

5. Enquiries and Quotations

Submitting an enquiry through the Site does not constitute a contract or binding commitment on either party. Any quotation or proposal we provide following your enquiry is an invitation to proceed, not a formal offer.

A binding contract for the supply of goods or services will only come into existence when we have issued a written quotation and you have accepted it in writing, and we have confirmed our acceptance.

All quotations are subject to a site survey and any applicable terms set out in our separate service agreement, which will be provided to you before any work commences.

6. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the Site is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or that the content is complete or current at any given time.

Any information on the Site relating to energy savings, system performance, payback periods or tariffs is provided for general guidance only and should not be relied upon as a guarantee of the results you will achieve. Actual outcomes will depend on your individual circumstances, property, usage patterns and external factors outside our control.

We reserve the right to update, correct or remove content from the Site at any time without notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freedom Energy Ltd makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, in relation to the Site or its content, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement

  • That the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components

  • That any information on the Site is accurate, complete or reliable

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Freedom Energy Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you in connection with the Site shall not exceed £100.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of the linked site by Freedom Energy Ltd.

10. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and analytics tools, including Framer Analytics and Google Analytics. Details of how we use cookies, what data is collected and how to manage your preferences are set out in our Cookie Policy, which is available on the Site.
