Without a battery, every kWh your solar panels generate during the day either gets used immediately or sold back to the grid at a fraction of what you'd pay to buy it back in the evening. A battery closes that gap - letting you store daytime generation and use it at night, when grid electricity is most expensive.

From 5kWh to 32kWh to power your home

We've installed systems from a single 5kWh domestic battery on a Devon bungalow to a 32.2kWh setup at a larger farmhouse. Battery storage is modular - you can start small and add capacity later as your needs change.

With the right battery and the right tariff (Octopus Go, Cosy, Intelligent Flux), you can charge from cheap overnight grid electricity, run your home through the day on stored power, and only ever import at the lowest available rate. We'll model the savings before you commit.

Sigenergy

Our preferred platform for new domestic installs. Modular, expandable, with strong long-term backing and clean integration with hybrid inverters.

GivEnergy

Long-established UK battery brand. We use the All-in-One platform for larger residential and small commercial installs. Despite the manufacturer's well-publicised challenges in early 2026, the installed base is significant and we continue to support GivEnergy systems where they're the right fit.

SolarEdge

Used on larger commercial projects where the SolarEdge inverter ecosystem already handles the PV side.

Retrofitting a battery to an existing solar system is common and often very worthwhile. We'll survey the existing setup, confirm compatibility, and design a battery solution that integrates cleanly with your current inverter - or replaces it with a hybrid setup if that's a better long-term move.
